Installation

Download

Install the Alpik Forwarder from the official store for your platform:

• iOS — App Store
• Android — Google Play

Do not install the app from unofficial sources.

First launch

1. Open the app after installation.
2. Accept the Bluetooth permission prompt — this is required for BLE scanning.
3. On Android 10 or later, accept the Location permission prompt. Android requires location permission to scan for BLE devices in the background.
4. The app displays the login screen.

Why location permission on Android?

Android's BLE scan API requires the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission because BLE beacons can be used to infer physical position. The Alpik Forwarder does not store or transmit your GPS location — it uses this permission solely to satisfy the OS requirement for BLE scanning.

Updating the app

Updates are delivered through the App Store / Google Play. Enable automatic updates to receive security and compatibility fixes promptly.
